Book a diagnostic

One phone call, four pieces of information, and we can usually tell you before the visit whether the fault is a cleaning, a component or a sealed system.

Hand tools on a folded towel on a kitchen floor, an open refrigerator door above them.
What happens after the call: an appointment, a cabinet, and a diagnosis in writing.

Booking opens our scheduling application in a new tab. There is no form on this site and no published email address; the telephone and that page are the two ways to reach us.

Before you dial: Built-in and integrated refrigeration inside the kitchen: refrigerator and freezer columns, wine storage cabinets, undercounter units, refrigerator drawers, and the ice makers built into them. Not heating, not air conditioning, not heat pumps, not air handlers and not ductwork. We do not install, service, replace or quote any part of a comfort-cooling or heating system, indoors or out, and we do not subcontract one. Saying which cabinet it is in the first sentence saves both of us the call. The six kinds of repair are listed in full.

Have these ready
  1. The full model number and serial number from the plate. On full-size cabinets it is inside the fresh-food compartment on the upper left wall; on undercounter units it is behind the base grille.
  2. Both compartment temperatures, read with a thermometer rather than from the display, against the 38°F and 0°F setpoints.
  3. Any code shown on the display, written down exactly. Leave it on the unit — do not clear it before the visit.
  4. When the condenser was last cleaned, and whether the grille is at the top or the bottom of the cabinet.
Before you book

Two answers that save you the call.

If the fresh-food compartment is under 48°F and the condenser has not been cleaned in a year, clean it first and give the cabinet 24 hours. A good proportion of calls end there and it costs you nothing.

If it is above 48°F against a 38°F setpoint, the manufacturer's own guidance is that a cleaning is unlikely to recover it. That is a service call, and waiting a week only adds a week of food loss.

We do not offer after-hours or emergency service, and we would rather say so here than have you find out at 9pm.

Before you ring

What should I have in front of me when I call?
The model and serial number from the plate, both compartment temperatures if you can read them, any code showing on the display, and roughly when the trouble started. Those four answers shorten the visit more than anything else you can do.
Before I call — is this the right trade for my problem?
It is if the appliance is a built-in refrigerator, a freezer column, a wine cabinet, an undercounter unit or an ice maker. Not heating, not air conditioning, not heat pumps, not air handlers and not ductwork. We do not install, service, replace or quote any part of a comfort-cooling or heating system, indoors or out, and we do not subcontract one. Sub-Zero is a kitchen appliance manufacturer. The name is a brand stamped on the model plate of a built-in refrigerator, a freezer column, a wine cabinet or an undercounter unit — it is not a temperature reading and it is not a heating or cooling trade.
When are you open?
Mon–Fri 8am–6pm · Sat 9am–4pm · Sun closed. Scheduled appointments only. No after-hours or emergency service. Nobody is dispatched at midnight and nothing on this site pretends otherwise.
Is there an email address or a contact form?
Neither, on purpose. The telephone and the booking page are the only two routes, so a message cannot sit unread in an inbox while a compartment warms up.
