# Book a diagnostic

One phone call, four pieces of information, and we can usually tell you before the visit whether the fault is a cleaning, a component or a sealed system.

What happens after the call: an appointment, a cabinet, and a diagnosis in writing.

us.

Have these ready
-
The full model number and serial number from the plate. On full-size cabinets it is inside the
fresh-food compartment on the upper left wall; on undercounter units it is behind the base
grille.

-
Both compartment temperatures, read with a thermometer rather than from the display, against
the 38°F and 0°F setpoints.

-
Any code shown on the display, written down exactly. Leave it on the unit — do not clear it
before the visit.

-
When the condenser was last cleaned, and whether the grille is at the top or the bottom of the
cabinet.

Before you book

## Two answers that save you the call.

If the fresh-food compartment is under 48°F and the condenser
has not been cleaned in a year, clean it first and give the cabinet
24 hours. A good proportion of calls end there and it costs
you nothing.

If it is above 48°F against a 38°F setpoint, the manufacturer's own guidance is that a cleaning is unlikely to recover it.
That is a service call, and waiting a week only adds a week of food loss.

We do not offer after-hours or emergency service, and we would rather say so here than have
you find out at 9pm.
